NOT LISTED AT ARRL - Thank you Lee Barrett

The Battleship Alabama will host a "Pearl Harbor Day" Crossband Special Event, December 6th and 7th, 2025.

This activity is to commemorate the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Empire of Japan on December 7th, 1942.
We plan to be on the air from 7 pm Friday night until noon Sunday.
The Alabama will be using the ship's original WWII callsign, NEMW.
The Battleship will transmit on 4.455 MHz, 7.463 MHz and 14.761.5 MHz, all UPPER SIDEBAND, depending on propagation.
The ship will listen for you on the adjacent ham frequencies 3.965 MHz, 7.180 MHz and 14.277 MHz. We will announce where we're listening. Please listen for us before you call.
You will operate split - with one VFO on the ship's military frequency and one on the ham frequency.
VERY IMPORTANT: Hams do not transmit on the military frequencies.
There will be a very nice QSL card for those who work us and send an SASE. Please QSL via K5LDA.
